Nancy just posted a comment that the Middle Channel has jammed and there is still lots of ice coming down the St. Clair River from the Blue Water Bridge.
Information from "Freighter" Frank, via a neighbor's cousin, is that 11 miles of ice is on the way down as of earier today. This is a "wait and see" time, I guess.
No new information other than coast guard is in the area. We don't know if they will be working the North Channel or not. South Channel is moving and according to Daryl DuPage, if it keeps moving we should be okay within a day or two. As usual, mother nature is in control and we just have to wait it out. We will post if we hear anything new.

I am officially on the LAST FERRY OF THE NIGHT - 8:30pm.
I dont see what the big deal is. Ice has been coming down for the better part of a week.
