Clay Township Dispatch just announced that Champion's Ferry will close tonight, March 21, 2010, at 10PM until 6AM tomorrow morning, Monday, March 22, 2010.
I do not know if the parking lot is open on the mainland so if anyone has that information please comment.

Ice is jammed in Middle Channel
Does anyone know if this is to allow the Coast Guard to come through or if this is an attempt to let the ice set-up overnight to form an ice bridge?
David Bryson noted on the recording this afternoon that navigating around these large, thick ice floes is difficult, if not impossible, in the dark.
