USCG Ice Update

Good Afternoon Everyone, We've been conducting flushing operations now for 2 days in the North and Middle Channels as well as flushing in the South Channel. We have the CGC MORRO BAY, CGC BRISTOL BAY, and the CCGS SAMUEL RISLEY working at these efforts to keep the ice flowing out through the flats and into Lake St Clair. We are expecting a lot more ice coming down as winds shift to the NE and it warms up. There is still a very substantial amount of ice in lower Lake Huron. To give you an idea, there is currently more ice up there than the total area of Lake St Clair. We will continue to update you as we see over the next several days how the ice deteriorates and moves into the river. Have a good night!

Thanks Coast Guard. Your updates are appreciated and a nice change.

Can someone in the know, list the 140's names and corresponding numbers?
I always forget who's who from year to year. Saw 102 the other day.
